Project Description

The Human Rights Program is a comprehensive initiative aimed at promoting and protecting human rights, supporting vulnerable populations, and raising awareness on social justice and equality.

Implemented with the support of key development partners, including UNDP, SPDI, Canadian Cooperation Office, Government of Nepal, and AEI Laxamber, the program focuses on children, women, conflict victims, and other marginalized groups, providing awareness campaigns, training, and community support to enhance access to justice and protection of rights.

The program is active in Salyan, Dang, Dailekh, and Jajarkot districts, addressing issues of human rights violations, gender equality, and social inclusion. With a total budget of NPR 6,868,495, the initiative emphasizes participatory approaches, advocacy, and capacity building for communities and local organizations.

The project duration spans from 2057 to 2065 (April 2000 – March 2009), aiming to create sustainable improvements in human rights awareness and protection across the target districts.
